Remodelling of a home in a two-family house between party walls, built in 1972. Former distribution was completely clustered and compartmentalised in an accumulation of rooms which refuse the slightest visual connection among them. The project, which includes design of furniture, even the kitchen and bathrooms, proposes solutions to break the rigidity imposed by load-bearing walls and sets the highest fluidity and visual communication between the rooms, extending the natural daylight into the central part of the house. The result replaces heaviness with lightness, darkness with light and rigidity with flexibility.
